What should the minimum size of the top opening be to install a kit spiral staircase?
At least 5 cm bigger than the staircase diameter.

At least the same as the staircase diameter.

How should I measure the height?
It is necessary to know the finished floor to finished floor height.

Will the landing tread fit my opening?
Yes. Kit spiral staircases are supplied with an adjustable landing tread to suit square or circular openings of different size.

Will my floor bear the staircase weight?
Concrete floors cause no problem. In case of timber floorings, we suggest to anchor the staircase as near as possible to a joist or fill in between the joists.

What is the weight of a kit spiral staircase?

Can the kit spiral staircase fit any height?
The stairs are adjustable so it maybe that you ned to buy addtional tread kits or for lower heights, less treads .How many tread kits can I add to the spiral staircase kit?
You can add 2 tread kits on each staircase kit, quite apart from the model or the diameter of the staircase.

What does a staircase kit include?
1 box includes: 12 treads, 1 landing tread, balusters for staircase and landing tread railing, handrail for staircase and landing tread railing, 1 first baluster extra support, sections of central pole of different size, spacer rings, bolts and nuts and all the accessories required to finish off the staircase. Metal kit includes rubber tread covers, as well.

Can I buy a kit staircase with different colours or characteristics than the ones given on the brochure?
In this case, We can make bespoke stairs to suit any requirments but costs vary.

Does the kit staircase include the top balustrade kit as well?
A staircase kit includes the staircase and landing tread railing. Optional balustrade kits are available in the following lengths: 100cm each

How should I install the top balustrade?
Every balustrade kit comes with a tool that guides You during the floor drilling. The balustrade will then be perfectly aligned and the balusters will be at the same distance. It is always required to look at assembly video and booklet.

What does a balustrade kit include?
1 balustrade kit includes: balusters, handrail, balusters basis, tool for the drilling, bolts and nuts and all the accessories required to finish off the balustrade. Quantities change according to the length of the kit purchased.

Can I install the staircase by myself?
Yes. Every staircase comes with a detailed instruction manual and aDVD that guide You step by step during the assembly.

Are the kit staircases self-bearing?
Kit spiral staircases need to be anchored to the ground and to the floor thickness exclusively.

Can I install staircase kits one on top of the other to reach more than 1 floor?
In this case, You have to choose a model among our customized lines Dimes or Scala.


Does the staircase complies with the actual Building regs?

Most of the stairs with 140cm upwards do. Please call us to clarify which ones. Spiral staircase kits comply with the BS5395 Part 2 Category A exclusively if installed with the following characteristics: d. 140 or 160 cm, rises H 22 cm max., presence of the riser bars kits.
